I was issued a new Thinkpad at work. First new new laptop in........ever? And boy, have batteries come a long way.

(That said, 2 steps forward and 1 step back, as the battery is built into the laptop and is not user replaceable).

I've had this shirt for 7 or 8 years now, and I finally got asked to change by a conference organizer. It's apparently "a bit confronting"

GNU World Order: ZFS (again) and KMail (those are two separate topics, don't let the "and" fool you).

One more episode to go and I'll have released 1 episode a week for the entire year of 2018. Next up: more of the same, only in 2019.

I got tired of being asxed the question, so I've finally done it:
I've created a merge request of my Tango Arrow brush into mainstream .

It's a brush. In the shape of an arrow. It will solve literally 65% of all GIMP questions I get.

I doubt GIMP commits are merged based on popular vote, but if you agree that this is a sorely needed addition, go give this merge request a boost.

I was building a dragonborn PC the other day and noticed that 5e Draconic races don't have an official history yet. Their history is rich, and gets a small mention in the 5e handbook, but it's not clear how the evil origins of 1e/2e Draconians lead to a playable good race in 5e.

This week's Chronicles & Commons looks at Draconics from DragonLance (TSR2021, my earliest D&D book) to 5e, and then explores @BrentNewhall's excellent Kala race.
