@m1rr0r5h4d35 I never thought to look for a computer version! thanks for the idea!
I was going to buy an actual board, but they are pretty expensive.
@m1rr0r5h4d35 Yeah I found out about it because an artist friend of mine is making her own board but asked me to figure out how to play it so she doesn't have to battle her dyslexia to read the rules. So I guess i'll be playing soon.
As I recall, I had trouble understanding the written rules, but actually playing it on my phone was much easier to understand. Easy to understand, but I found the game itself difficult, although I didn't have the app long. Maybe I should install it again.
Your welcome! Anytime!
@ewankeep yes! it's a great game with asymetrical rules. There's a bunch of variations from history and they're all great
@tomasino
It is a cool game. Custodial capture makes it hard to wrap the brain around sometimes. We played it so you scored best out of a series of games, each player taking a turn as king or attacking army. I made my own board. I'll have to find it.
@klaatu I have. A fun brain burner. Some of the proposed rule sets make a better game than others.
@klaatu
There use to be a tafl app for Android. Played it a bit on that, but I wasn't very good at it.
