@ixn Are you learning plain ol' #Scheme, or GNU #Guile? I'm not even sure what the diff is, to be honest, but GNU Guile has intrigued me lately, largely because of Guix.

@klaatu @ixn Just remember, there are as many versions of Scheme as there are programmers who got interested in Scheme.

Actually, that's unfair. Some programmers have created more than one version of Scheme 😉

@ixn @klaatu Kawa Scheme runs on the JVM. It's easy to use external libraries but access modifiers have given me trouble when inheriting from Swing widgets.

@tealturtle Yeah I wasn't seriously looking for either Scheme-in-Java or Java-in-Scheme, but actually knowing that Kawa Scheme exists is cool. Who knows, maybe I'll mess around with it!
