You can learn ALL this stuff from books, which are mostly free (the library), and doesn't need to be online to operate.

f you get de-platformed, then what? Always have a contingency plan, because the internet is a fickle mistress. The gold standard of any internet presence is a great website, bar-none. The best thing you can do for yourself is have a solid body of work, the above, and good SEO.

As a (mostly) former web developer, I've always maintained that it is/was a bad idea to rely on ANY one platform to buoy your business (or use as your preferred method of communication). Everyone should have a private website for things exactly like this.

Don't get de-platformed! Build your own website today!

In 2001 Rage Against the Machine raged against the machine and said “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me.”

In 2021 RATM is the machine and rages against those that rage against the machine but still thinks of themselves as the underdog raging against the machine. Strange days.

Taking offense is a classic trick to put others on the defensive & control the convo. It’s bad faith, not righteous. You’re offended? Talk to your therapist about why you’re allowing others to control your emotions & stop blaming me for your inability to manage your feelings.

You know somebody's Twitter account is awesome when none of their tweets show up on their own page because apparently EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM contains a word you have blocked lmaooooooooo.

I was right there, too, and I had my whole kit on me.
Should have been out in it taking pictures, but I was eating cake, having a cocktail, and watching from the restaurant window instead. Self care, ya'll.

Some folks'll call me "woefully uninformed", I just call it "protecting my mental health". Anyway, I saw a protest the other day here in NYC for abortion rights (which I am 10000% for, and then some), but it got me wondering: did I miss something? Did we pass a weird law, or...?

Have recently developed a weird little thing where I'll sneeze twice, every morning. Now considering it the marker of whether I am fully awake or not.

If lighting a candle once a year on the day you were born and making a 'wish' while you blow it out isn't a form of mainstream-accepted spell-casting, then I don't know what is.

Why does everything have to be an online “event”? Can’t you just type that shit into a blog post? Fuck.

Don't send me reels, tiktoks, videos, etc that I have to listen to in order to understand/enjoy....'cause I won't.

I hate apps that make you sign up for an account before you can experience the UI or even try it out first. Like, I need to determine whether or not I want to give you my info AFTER trying your product, not before.

Do you have any idea what its like to have a jaw/mouth as huge as mine with an equally sized inability to correctly express yourself with with it? I love it.

Why is it that only independent, small eateries/bars are the ones being made to enforce the vaccine mandate, but the big chains aren’t? Oh, you know why.

TIL that Robert Anton Wilson was an editor for Playboy 😖
