Did you know? You can open paths & links from command output in Haiku’s Terminal by holding the Command key (usually ‘Alt’) and then clicking on them. (It even handles line:column suffixes!)
Is it sending a message that some IDE is listening on?
@LupusMichaelis @haiku no it's using the MIME database that handles URL protocols (HTTP, FTP…) as special MIME types, with default app for each of them.
@LupusMichaelis @haiku and the line:column thing is a custom field in the open message though, that's been picked up by various IDEs indeed.
@LupusMichaelis @mmu_man We have a native gVim port for Haiku; if it handles the "refs received" message then it should already support at least the basic version of this, if not the line:column support too.
I know, I used it while learning some BeAPI earlier this year ;)
