It also still is a novelty to me to occasionally glance east and see ocean (or at least salt; most places there's a barrier island so technically I'm seeing a bay or inlet). One of these days I'm going to end up in the ditch and have to explain to my insurance company I was mesmerized by the water. At which point I expect them to say "Your rates won't go up - we already figure that into the rate for people who move here from the Great Plains."
