@theoutrider I loved the original "Sliced Goat Cheese" game and its sequel "Ms. Sliced Goat Cheese".

"Sliced Goat Land" was a bit weird, however.

@theoutrider It's so cool to see everything when you're there in Skyrim and it's all around you.

The POGO live megamix is amazing. It's remixes of mashups, chock full of nostalgia.

I'm at the stage of having a cold where it's impossible to look at any light, like a screen (other than a dark phone in night mode).

Girlfriend came home, put on the radio, and "Sunglasses at Night" started playing… giving me an idea (to escape bed-bound boredom).

Let's see if it'll work… 😎

This goes out to all my former teachers who told me: "you won't have a calculator with you all the time". funny how that went, huh?

microblogging is made up of two parts "micro", meaning small, and "blogging", short for "weblogging", which is made up of two parts "web", meaning that thing that spiders make, and "logging" meaning cutting down trees

so microblogging is when you're a spider that cuts down small trees

Perhaps I should cut down on the # of clothes I bring on a week long work trip and just throw money at someone to wash some halfway through (or spend some time in a shared laundromat)?

Problem is, last time I did that, a previous mystery person used so much bleach they ruined all my favorite clothes.

(This was years ago in the USA, where people use lots of bleach "normally" when washing.)

Happy to spend time with awesome teammates and see so many friends and colleagues from around the world.

But wow, a near shutdown of the city due to a snowstorm yet *again* when I'm trying to get home? Can we not do that again next time, please, universe? Travel is already tough enough even in the best of conditions.

@amydentata My girlfriend's suitcases are both swivel-wheeled. The larger (which I used for this trip) is a Samsonite of some sort. The smaller (which she's using for her work trip right now) is an Rimowa.

Rimowa is better and lighter, but a week's worth of my big clothes won't fit in her small one. I should've bought a larger version of the Rimowa for bigger trips.

My backpack is a (now-discontinued model 😢) Tortuga.

@amydentata I'm still super sore today from the trip yesterday. But it's worlds difference to the previous trip.

Two years ago, the snow plus my crappy drag-behind suitcase constantly tugged and dislocated my shoulders so much they were completely out of place for over a year. I should've called a taxi.

My shoulders never fully recovered; random painful dislocations and always in pain ever since.

At least today, thanks the bag upgrades, they're sore instead of being 100% messed up.
