@MichelleObama ♫ Still feel weird ♫
@fry @MichelleObama if you wanna feel weirder, let this man take your brain for a spin.
@fry not gonna toot the next line. Not my style.
@MichelleObama I respect that, but it was worth a try.
@fry that is easy during the first month of using Mastodon you only should listen to music from the band it's named after https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastodon_(band)
@fry What kind of music are you into? I could recommend my favorite type (metal) but that's not relaxing for everyone.
@fry I tend to listen to stuff from a lot of different subgenres, but Moonspell has been hitting the spot lately. They tick a lot of boxes from various styles, and I like that. One thing I have learned from talking with people about metal is that since it is a wide genre, some people don't expect harsh vocals. Moonspell uses both harsh vocals and clean vocals. Check them out if that sounds like something you are into!
@fry Then I have a feeling you will like Moonspell as well :) I love me some Opeth. Another one to look at Is Perihelion Ship. They have their album at Perihelionship.bandcamp.com and have a really nice sound with both clean and harsh vocals too.
@fry Analog Bubblebath, by Aphex Twin !
@fry Splendor and Misery by clipping.
@fry anything from merzbow
@maguireja I would be so shrivelled if still soaking but I like the idea of a 17 hour Merzbow bath
@fry you are a special kind of masochist
@fry The choice is simple https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIZHUyVzx7A
If Mastodon can't answer this question it's basically useless
