- quotes (birdsite style)
- timeline language filtering
- timeline instance filters (aka user instance block)
- dynamic width columns w/o custom CSS
- arbitrary file attachments wouldn't hurt but maybe a bad idea hmm
- built-in romaji->kana thingy for the toot box

I wish I had the talent to make simple, effective UIs... Making my own client for Mastodon made me realize that no matter how much knowledge you have about handling data, if you can't display it properly, it's a worthless talent. #LateNightThoughts

You can't get an API as simple as Mastodon's. I'm impressed with all the content that's made available to us so easily. I'm expecting a lot of third-party stuff being released in the weeks to come.
Whoever came up with the name "TootSuite" is a genius. Not because it sounds like the famous "HootSuite" but because it sounds like "Tout de suite" in french which means "Now".
