While contributing to the birdsite stream feels like talking alongside with each other, sometimes voices like crisscross into conversations and drift apart but the speed and noise of the stream makes you feel like safe in a hive, it creates a weird mix of the possibility of being heard and not-heard at the same time, a very oral feel.
Early days on new social platforms always feel like teen parties when no one knows what to say to get things started and you not sure if you like the new people around and not sure if your friends are yet to turn up or not come at all.
