@EdwardTorvalds i shrunk win10 partition, made 2 partitions, 20gb ext4 mounted at /, 80gb ext4 at /home

i tried installing with bootloader on /sdc (main drive), i also tried just installing on the new ext4 at / one i made.

both failed. no idea why.

it's an HP convertible laptop with a weird hybrid drive (SSD/SATA)

@eliasg this is my setup:
Format whole hard drive with MBR (not GPT)
Disable secure boot
Change boot to legacy <- important
Install Elementary OS
Then make a partition for Windows and install it.

@EdwardTorvalds if I can get my hands on a windows CD I gotta try this.

@eliasg is your windows geniune? Then keep its licence key and get the windows setup file from official website and proceed as I did...
Btw, you can get windows setup file from torrent too... Good luck!

@EdwardTorvalds I don't think anyone in Taiwan uses legit software. Rampant piracy here.

I'm downloading something now to try it.
