alright...choose to read A Wizard of Earthsea because I loved the short stories of Le Guin related to her world. Here we go!
@eliasg I'd do the whole earthsea trilogy. It's good - and the three books are notably different.
@eliasg I'm halfway through it! I really like it so far, even if I'm not powering through it.
@lamnatos I like Ursula K. Le Guin's fantasy because it isn't all just swords and fighting. It's about wizardry, magic, and people living in those 'olden times'.
@eliasg When I started reading this book, first thing I thought was "One more story of a wizard apprentice searching for his grandiose destiny? Meh".
A couple of chapters in, I vividly remember thinking to myself "Oh! Oh... This isn't about magic stuff, there's much more here"
@lamnatos you read any more of her stuff?
you would enjoy this.

@eliasg It's already in my to-read list, thanks for reminding me. Once I finish reading Earthsea, I've got The Left Hand of Darkness in my queue, I'll see how it goes.
@lamnatos nice! i liked that. I also read The Dispossessed too.
@eliasg oooh, that's a good one!
@eliasg i love this book to the ends of the seas!
