Today was the first day I had to fsck my (Linux) laptop 😱 Show more
My computer was fine and then *bam*, power-up lead to an 'initramfs' command line...
I fixed the issue by:
1. booting a livestick
2. identying the ext4 partition (I used gparted, it was /dev/sda1)
3. running 'sudo fsck -f /dev/sda1' (partition might change in your case)
