the issue is that when I turn it off, the current consumption only drops to 25.4 µA! with the 210-mAh on the nameplate of the coin cell, that should be a year. the coin cell also has some self-discharge.

I might install a physical switch some day.

A fairly large burn comes down the hill, and flows into the canal. The construction is a bridge across the burn, which carries a track. The track is used by the farmer to access his fields.

The use of stone as the construction material allows the bridge to form part of the landscape, in a way concrete can never do.

Note the vegetation growing in the top left corner of each archway.

In the year 2021, people will be able to turn on their Personal Computer, connect to the global Internet network, and tell the computer to fetch things that make them angry.

I made a thing. I upgraded my homamade Prusa MK2 with Bear upgrade and made a video out of it.

Here's a playlist that covers everything from aligning the frame until mounting all axis.

hot take about open source software

The most important thing about Free and Open Source Software isn't all the stuff about forking and pull requests and that. The most important thing is that it works to insulate code from the profit motive.

The ability to fork or request upstream changes is a vital part of that but not the point in and of itself.

I have a several OpenSCAD drawings I want to publish.

What is a good license to publish them under?

Reading this article -- lulzbot.com/learn/tutorials/li

It seems that OpenSCAD drawings should be published under CC BY-SA 4.0

Are there better licenses for this?

I let another practical print today -- Shaving mug. It still smells a bit weird after I added some acetone to seal it.
