Listening to latest harmontown (guns)
...I bought that gun as a donation to a religion that professes that we are all going to kill each other.
I put money in a collector's dish for that church... I fell for it... what I'm confessing is -- "Oh! It works!"
Any random thing that happens, you're happy you've bought Black and Decker people shooter, the way you happy you've got a DustBuster...
...and that is the problem. That shouldn't be how are we thinking about human life.

The Fifth Best Movie Of 2018:
The Death of Stalin
Armando Ianucci is one of the finest, most recognisable satirists alive. As excited as I was to get to see this new film, I'll be the first to admit that it has its flaws. Most strikingly, the film's tone is marked by moments of striking dissonance. This problem arises naturally, however, from what makes Ianucci's cinema so fascinating: his uncompromising, unrelenting denunciation of power. Also it's very funny.

I had no idea coffee with milk has such a high climate impact, compared to other foods and drinks.
If you drink 200ml of milk and a cup of coffee like with a mug per day, that's around 1kg of GHG emissions.
Do it every day for a year and it's the equivalent of 1500km driven by the average ICE car.
Let's see how far I get on this before I get too overwhelmed at the thought of leaving someone out!

> In 30 years someone's going to be writing a history article like "did you know about this social network that facilitated mass surveillance by authoritarian governments and stoked ethnic hatred, and users knew about it and didn't care?" and are you gonna be like "Yes, it was awful, when I found out I stopped using it and started working on platforms that empowered people" or are you gonna be like "yes but it was so helpful for staying in touch with friends"?

Nothing motivates me more to read mailman 3 manual than yet another facebook data privacy boondoggle.
I know mailing lists to keep in touch with everyone is not the best solution, but I find it to be a viable solution.
Also I've been using firefox facebook container, since it's been released.
