Chronicles and Commons and GNU World Order are in my podcast playlist.
Other iwm devices (8260, 8265) still require more changes to be committed first, which have already been posted to the tech@ mailing list.
Thanks to all who have helped with testing so far! I hope to get some additional test reports soon
This is what I found so far:
"Andrei Gherzan is also looking at u-boot support; his work is on his github account at agherzan. At the moment we’re both stuck trying to enable the MMU during board start up. So quite some distance to go yet. "
#Slackware Kernel panic
It took until the weekend, but, 😅
I tried a different kernel, compiling 4.4.190 instead of 4.4.14 (old)
got a booting system, with the exception that the font did not go from
80 lines to high resolution. After startx, the screen just appeared frozen,
X was not working.
Now to try compiling the most current kernel, 5.3.0.
That worked flawlessly.

OSDisc.com Has Closed
August 4, 2019
After over 16 years, OSDisc.com has closed. I started OSDisc to spread Linux and help new users get started. But providing DVDs today has little effect on the spread of Linux. I regularly see small distros that provide tens of thousands of downloads, but few if any DVDs are provided by OSDisc. The vast majority of Linux users are downloading Linux themselves. And that's a great thing to see.
Costume victory: One daughter is the Lunar Lander, one an astronaut. This makes me giddy. I hope their candy sample return containers overflow.
