The James Bond novels and movies were among other things (like indulgent fantaisies for men) a way for Great Britain to feel comfortable, reassured about their influence after the winding down of the empire.

In current times, the passing of the 007 icon from the UK to the US does feel very symbolic isn’t it ?

I liked the movies when I was young, and I loved the TTRPG too. The Q Manual taught me everything I know(*) about guns and cars !
