The current high demand for #ruby developers has offered me a wonderful opportunity: follow the money, or... work less. Currently looking forward to my middle-of-the -week break, where I can recharge, chill out, and get ready for coding, designing and testing with a clear head. Life is good, and I do appreciate how lucky I am.

For me, I prefer the minimalism of the Emacs UI: Only show what I need to know, when I need to know it.
I really dislike IDE, and also VS Code, for all the distractions I got on screen when I need to concentrate on my code.

Need help from geeks.
On Manjaro, using zsh, I could search through my shell history with ctrl-R and get a nice list of commands I could refine my query against.
Now that I am on MacOS, I don’t get this nice addition to zsh. Any idea where it came from?

I wrote my first #emacs package (https://github.com/shombando/ntfy) to interface with https://ntfy.sh/.
This allows me to send notifications (reminders) to my mobile device from inside Emacs. I plan to tie this into #orgmode reminders. Potentially even make it bi-directional so a notification from mobile is captured into org. Suggestions and contributions welcome.

The Bluetooth Quick Connect extension (https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1401/bluetooth-quick-connect/) should be built-in functionality in GNOME.
It’s a hugely cumbersome process, otherwise, to connect to headphones that you’ve already paired (especially if you also use them with your phone, etc.)

Jeune étudiante en 1ere année BTS info. SIO cherche un stage sur Paris pour deux mois à compter de mai (oui c'est demain) jusqu’à juin selon le planning donné par l’école . Une durée plus longue serait aussi bénéfique. Si l’entreprise peut donner la possibilité d’avoir l’alternance elle serait aussi ravie car elle l’envisage pour l’année prochaine.
