Can I just ask, for someone new to creating simple branching narrative games, what free resources would you recommend (apart from Twine's own tutorials i mean)
@johnayliff Thanks, will do. Once I decide on a version (I'm in middle of OS upgrade at the moment) I'll dive into the forums.
@Faintdreams Online guides will vary in usefulness depending on whether they're for the same version of Twine you're using. The official Twine forum is a helpful community and often answers questions. Make sure to say what version of Twine and what story format you're using.
