Hey folks, can you tell me if you can see @DavidLibeau on your side? (With images?)

@tcit Something really annoying is the Mastodon cache… What you see it not really what is existing…

If some or dev want to help and know why does @DavidLibeau is not rendering, you can see the project source code here : framagit.org/DavidLibeau/activ :mastodon:

I see one thing : that Mastodon may have some sort of timeout and, as my script is relying on Twitter.com, it is too long to load for Mastodon…

I don't thinks it's a json problem because I triple check that… On another project it is working perfectly. And it is also good with @Gargron tuto (blog.joinmastodon.org/2018/06/)…

I codes a cache for data, and nothing seems to be changed… So it is not that… 😣

@David Yeah, no dice here.

It also looks like this implementation is missing Webfinger, so searching for DavidLibeau@twitter.activitypub.actor doesn't seem to bring up any results

@David Hmm, okay, so I guess you do have it, but it's not currently discoverable to federated microblogging apps.

I also don't see any statuses attached to the actor you're pointing to on the profile page, but maybe you're not displaying them publicly: twitter.activitypub.actor/Davi

@David Interesting, is this some kind of fediverse <> Twitter bridge?

@deadsuperhero Yep, but not limited to Twitter. The idea might to profide ActivityPub actor for a lot of service, like public figure of Wikipedia, or I am thinking about deputies of France's assemblee-nationale.fr/, for example.
