Learning that buying used records online is going to put me in the position of "this record isn't quite as good as the seller portrayed it as" a lot. And every one of them is a potential, "It was fine when I sent it to you, you must have scratched it yourself." And if I don't want to return it, but just want them to refund part of the purchase price ("It's not terrible, just not what you said it was."), that looks even more suspicious.
But then, leaving positive feedback covers up a poor seller.
